Pestilent my brain became

Did we amass this
Set of crown jewels
Where the doves nest
Where were at our best
I’m ecstatic and erratic
Prone to being problematic

Peaceful fluttering dove
Pure and white with eyes of ice
Swooped in to save me
Drenched in vanilla twilight
You gleam like bright northeren lights
But When they wane and emotions feigned
I move away like a bullet train
Do not lay waste
To what you create
It is never safe
Never insinuate
When all is stripped away
Turn to fear or faith
Your decision to make
Hide or pray
we were born this way.
Cleanse the soul
With tears of old
Feel the frosty cold
What we love won’t mold
